Raymond Gerald Borley
Dec. 23, 1948 – March 26, 2026

Raymond Gerald Borley, born Dec. 23, 1948, in Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, in Kelowna, B.C. He spent his final days enjoying a break from the Alberta cold he knew so well.

Raymond was predeceased by his loving parents, Megan and Jim. He is survived by his three children, Alisha, Jason and Don, who will carry forward his memory and the values he instilled in them. He also leaves behind his sister, two nephews, and his estranged wife.

Throughout his life, Raymond was known for his strong work ethic and determination. He managed a quarry in Nordegg, Alta., where he earned respect for his dedication and leadership. Later, he pursued his dream of becoming a realtor in Rocky Mountain House — a career he found deeply fulfilling as he connected with and helped others.

Raymond had a deep appreciation for his friends and treasured the time he spent with them. He especially loved taking people out for lunch — sharing stories, laughter and companionship — and it is fitting that “Ray’s Last Lunch” will be announced in his honour. He also loved a good slapstick comedy movie, and his laughter could fill a house, bringing joy to everyone around him. He loved dancing any chance he could, never missing an opportunity to enjoy the moment and lift the spirits of those nearby.

He will be remembered as a devoted father, a cherished brother and a loyal friend whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around him.

His life was defined by his dedication to family, the strength of his friendships, his resilience and his determination to follow his dreams.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

“Ray’s Last Lunch” location and date to be decided.
